Has been a few weeks since I posted anything on the blog! (not very professional!) But needless to say it isn’t because I haven’t been busy. The CLA Game Fair was a fantastic success and Collier and Dobson sold on my behalf several new originals, including ‘Pack’ and ‘Retrieved’ plus a couple more and many fabulous prints! Brilliant! I am working my fingertips off in the studio, painting new pieces for the up coming ‘Burghley Horse Trials’ which I will be exhibiting at with C&D. Some new ‘Hounds’ and ‘Highlands’ will be showing alongside ‘Foxy Lady’ and ‘Ermintrude’. Have also been working on a couple of new coastal pieces for ‘Flint’ in Blakeney.
Very busy last few weeks!

This weekend is the final Open Studio weekend for us Rutlanders, last chance to get a cheeky look at what goes on in the Artists Studio! Has been a very busy week, and actually have very little left in the studio as it has all gone off to Galleries, but still have some boootiful Coastal pieces and V. lovely prints, so no excuse not to spend! ha ha. Here are a few new paintings that will be exhibited over the next few weeks at the CLA Game Fair and one or two other places. Friday evening, I think the chilled glass of Vino is calling……….

Rutland Open Studio, and Something I’m working on!
For anyone that is cruising around Rutland for the month of June, I am holding an ‘Open Studio’ as part of Rutland Open Studios’. Weekends from 11.00 – 4.00 or by appointment in the week. Have some beautiful framed prints and one or two originals (although, most of the new pieces are in Galleries or at shows with Mr. Collier!). Also here is a preview of a large canvas I am working on at the moment, titled ‘Pack’. Taking a long time, but should be worth the effort. TTFN.
‘Monty’
As promised, new image of Highland in progress, think I’m going to call him ‘Monty’! This is a 150cms x130 cms canvas and will be going off to the ‘Longines Global Champions Tour’ at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford with ‘Collier and Dobson’. Next pieces are going to be a running fox and and a pack of Hounds! Watch this space…….
Bleached Boards and Dusty Grasses.
Back in the Studio after a weeks break, lovely chilled time in Mallorca! Finding it quite difficult to get going! Did this ‘Board Walk’ painting before I went away and it is off to Norfolk at the weekend along with a ‘Sea Grasses’ piece. Started new ‘Highland’ today for ‘Collier and Dobson’ which will be going to ‘South of England Show’ West Sussex , June 6th – 8th. Will post piccy tomorrow when further on with painting.
New ‘Wild Seas’ for ‘Flint’ gallery, Norfolk.
Have been madly painting this week to keep up with my lovely Gallery People!Painting a couple of new Sea scapes for ‘Flint’ in Blakeney that are off to be framed and two new ‘Animal’ pieces for ‘Collier and Dobson’ . Phew!
New this week!
Have been very busy this week painting new pieces for ‘Collier and Dobson’ down at the Royal Windsor Horse Show. This new Hound painting is nearing completion and I am just debating whether or not to varnish it to add a high degree of gloss to it………. Will decide at some point. Three large blank canvases awaiting new subjects, what to do next…….?
